Meet the Artist
Hailing from Long Island, Debbie Segal relocated to Atlanta, GA, for law school at Emory University. Following her graduation, she embarked on a remarkable career in Public Interest Law, starting at Atlanta Legal Aid and later assuming leadership roles as the Executive Director of the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation and as a Pro Bono Partner with the Kilpatrick Townsend Law firm.
Her dedication to public service extended beyond her professional roles, as she actively contributed to advancing Public Interest initiatives within the ABA and other organizations. Even in retirement, Debbie remains committed to her advocacy work, representing victims of domestic violence and sharing her expertise by teaching Public Interest Law at Emory University.
